The structure, with original sections from the 8th and 14th centuries, has a monumental door that opens onto the elegant interiors, characterized by cement grit floors, rampant vaulted ceilings decorated with floral motif tiles and generous spaces.

Il Sangemini Home si affaccia su Via Casventino, la stradina che percorre la porzione più antica del centro storico di San Gemini per l'intera sua lunghezza, da sud a nord. Percorrendo la via, ci si inoltra in una città dall'aspetto barocco, anche se le sue origini sono ben più antiche. Lungo la via si succedono edifici della tipologia del palazzo romano, con portone centrale dall'aspetto spesso monumentale, primo piano “nobile” di altezza considerevole dotato di ampie aperture, ed ultimo piano coronato, spesso, da un cornicione laterizio che nasconde in parte alla vista lo sporto di gronda in vergoli lignei e pianelle.
Il palazzo De Bonnanti è uno di questi.
